    Henri Matisse (December 3, 1869 – November 3, 1954) was a French painter, sculptor and print maker. Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso were revolutionaries in the creation of visual arts in the twentieth century. He was also involved in the Fauvism Movement. His son, Pierre Matisse, opened a modern art gallery in New York City. He is notably known for painting, Woman with a Hat.
